The Impact Assessment Unit (IAU) is tasked to conduct impact assessment studies of researches and extension programs of the university. The IAU is guided by the following functions:
1. To maintain a pool of impact assessors;
2. To initiate the conduct of baseline studies for identified researches;
3. To evaluate completed researches and extension programs for impact evaluation, when deemed necessary;
4. To coordinate and assist the Pool of Impact Assessors in the conduct of the impact assessment of completed researches and extension programs of the university;
5. To publish and present researches on impact assessment;
6. To coordinate with RMCBU in conducting capacity-building activities on impact assessment;
7. To establish linkages with similar centers in the Philippines; and,
8. To assist the OURD Director in the preparation of work plans and reports.
